Umpires
Like all sports Rock-It-Ball requires game day officials and this can range from a single referee for a local league game to 1 referee, 2 umpires, a score keeper and a time keeper.
There are several different variations of the sport that also require different levels of officiating.
An individual can start at local league level and quickly progress to officiating at International Level.

Education
It is important that our game day officials are of a high standard and this can only be achieved by having sound knowledge of our sport.

Membership
All game day officials must be registered to the IRIBF in order to officially referee or umpire a game. Referees are also encouraged to put a crew together.
